Who We Are

Saddleback Maine Community Corps (SMCC) is a non-profit organization that supports outdoor recreation opportunities for residents living in and visitors to the Rangeley region. We directly support the Rangeley Schools Ski-Tuesday Program and help facilitate the Saddleback Hosts Program. We believe in developing an appreciation for the outdoors derives healthy lifelong benefits and supports the Rangeley Region. Rangeley Schools Ski Tuesday program is open to all 120 students from grades 1-8 to spend a half-day at Saddleback for 8-10 consecutive Tuesdays starting each January. Bus transportation is provided from the school after lunchtime to Saddleback. Ski/ride equipment is expertly fitted for the students by Saddleback ski shop technicians. In additional to the financial support, SMCC provides volunteers to help students gear up and chaperone until they are ready to head out to the slopes with their professional ski & ride instructors from the Roger Page Ski & Ride School. Saddleback Maine Community Corps is a 501(c)(3) organization (Registered Charity Number : 93-2358161) that 100% relies on community donations to run its program. We are an all-volunteer organization and every dollar contributed goes towards program support.  We support the Rangeley Schools Ski-Tuesday Program and help facilitate the Saddleback Hosts Program.
